Stephen,

A recent conversation with a friend also made me realize that women are emotional creatures and men are more factual, just the way our brains operate. Men, I think are able to use logic and facts to perhaps get a better handle on pain, whereas women's feelings and emotions drive them more.

Thanks for your reply Stephen. I'm sorry it took a few days to get back to you!

Best regards-
Audrey

I also think women worry more than men.

My own observations are that women do suffer more than men and I'm inclined to put that down to stress levels.
No doubt that there are other reasons but women just take on a hell of a lot more than men.

Kids, house work, shopping, money managers (household), and the list could go on and on.
Men are more of one dimension, one thing at a time.

I've often been called selfish, if I do not want to do something, I don't.

With RA I think it important that one becomes a little selfish and not put your self into a situation that will, (can) lead to a higher stress level or fatigue.

I find it to hard to put all my thoughts on this subject into words so will leave it at that.
